Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of PanelFlow.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PanelFlow (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PanelFlow is an AI-native manga studio that helps you build a story world, generate images, and lay out pages. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may limit or suspend the Service for maintenance or to protect it.

The Service is operated from India and offered worldwide. We make no representation that it is appropriate or available in every location. If you access it from somewhere the Service or the content you create would be unlawful, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local law.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Your content and storage

You retain ownership of the projects, characters, prompts, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). To provide the Service, we store Your Content — and the text and images you generate — on our servers and those of our hosting and storage providers acting on our behalf. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display this content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to generate the results you request. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload.

5. AI-generated output and your commercial license

The Service uses AI models to generate text and images from your inputs ("Output"). As between you and PanelFlow, and to the fullest extent we are able to grant, we assign to you all right, title, and interest we hold in the Output you generate. You may use that Output for any lawful purpose, including full commercial use — such as publishing, selling, and monetizing your manga — without any further payment, royalty, or attribution to us. This grant is conditioned on your ongoing compliance with these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section below) and payment of any applicable fees.

Because similar prompts can produce similar results for different users, Output may not be unique to you, and AI-generated material may not be eligible for certain intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for reviewing Output before using it and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

6. AI transparency, labeling, and your obligations when you publish

Everything the Service produces is generated by AI. We mark generated images with machine-readable provenance metadata identifying them as AI-generated, using the standard IPTC "trained algorithmic media" indicator. You agree not to strip, alter, or obscure that marking, and not to present Output as if it were not AI-generated where doing so would mislead.

When you publish or distribute Output, transparency obligations may apply to you directly, not to us. Several jurisdictions now require that AI-generated content be disclosed to the people who see it, and those duties generally fall on whoever publishes the work. Depending on where your readers are, that can include:

  • European Union. Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, a person who deploys AI-generated or manipulated content must disclose it. For work that is evidently artistic, creative, satirical or fictional — which manga normally is — the duty is reduced to disclosing the presence of generated content in a way that does not spoil the work, rather than labeling every panel.
  • Mainland China. The Measures for Labeling AI-Generated Synthetic Content require a visible label on content that could mislead, alongside metadata identifying its synthetic origin.
  • South Korea. The AI Framework Act requires users to be notified that content was produced by generative AI.

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive, and these rules change. You are responsible for determining what applies to you and your audience and for complying with it. Nothing here is legal advice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe others' rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
  • create content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that sexualizes minors;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • resell or misrepresent the Service, or use it to build a competing service through scraping or bulk extraction.

8. Payments

Some features may require a paid plan or credits. Prices and what's included are shown at the point of purchase. Except where required by law or stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, payments are non-refundable. Taxes may apply.

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — belongs to PanelFlow and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it as described here.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PanelFlow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

PanelFlow's principal place of business is in India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts at PanelFlow's registered office in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing proceedings there where the law gives you that right.
